How Litehouse Beacon Can Work For You

1.) Open shifts aggregated in Beacon

Unit Leaders/Central Staffing post shifts.

2.) Claimable to Full-Time Caregivers

FTEs are able to claim these shifts for a time period you designate. Resource rules are in place to monitor competency, overtime and work requirements.

3.) Claimable to Resource Pools

 
Beacon will push open shifts to your Resource Pool. 

4.) Claimable to Internal PRN

After time period designated by you, Beacon will push the open shifts, so they become available to internal PRN staff.

5.) Claimable to Marketplace

Only after your internal resources have been fully optimized, shifts will be allocated to the Litehouse Marketplace.  Only then and upon your approval, remaining unfilled shifts could be made available to your travelers.

6.) Claimable to Travel

Specialty shifts not usually addressed by marketplace or filled by internal staff become available to travelers, at your discretion.

Talent Optimization/Savings

Your forecast said you need 10 med-surg RNs at General Hospital for this Friday night. You have 5 RNs on the unit schedule for Friday, leaving 5 RNs shifts open.

Beacon will tell you which of those should be filled by FT, by float, by PT, by per diem, by travel, etc and follows your work rules and desired flow in doing so
